Avenging Angel

In the history of Lunar, there are many heroes. There a Dragonmasters, priests wizards and various warriors who have each done their part to help the Goddess Althena in defending the Silver Star. Then there's Dayanara. Her name has come up more than on ce in the stories of the past. She enigmatic warrior comes and goes as she pleases, aiding those she sees fit. It is even rumored she helped Dragonmaster Dyne in his quest to save the Goddess. Regardless of the rumors and stories, Dayanara searches the wo rld for something. While searching, she tends to lend her father a hand in his doings from time to time. What she's looking for, is completely unknown.

One thing is for certain, though, Dayanara is a powerful warrior. Her skill on the field of battle is unmatched, to the point that those that she's fought with or against, wonder if she's really even human at all. She seems to have the total package wh en it comes to the art of war. Strength, speed, skill, everything needed to make an excellent fighter. A versatile warrior, Dayanara can use one of several weapons. When she was younger, she used a sword as a primary weapon and backed it up with a hand claw. In fact, she believes she's the one who invented this style of fighting, and proclaims herself to be the "Queen of Hardcore" in battle. Now a days she only uses a single sword, feeling that she doesn't really need the aid of another weapon to beat the hell out of whatever poor fool gets in her way.

Personality-wise, Dayanara, or "Daya" to any cute guys she might meet, is very much vocal and outspoken. Her opinion is normally the first, and the loudest, voiced in any situation. She is very opinionated, and makes it quite clear that her trust is no t something easily won. She is supremely confident in everything she does, from fighting to flirting, which it just so happens, she's quite talented at them both. Daya is certainly not above using the perfect curves of her body to influence decision makin g for her benefit. She can be as dangerous with her body as she is with her weapons, given the proper situations.

Daya likes to be the center of attention, and tends to get rather jealous of those who take attention away from her. No matter how she acts, though, Dayanara has her secrets. For instance, on her left hand is a fine gold ring with a large diamond in it. It was hand crafted, and appears to be done by an expert craftsman. However she almost doesn't even acknowledge that it's on her finger, and changes the subject very quickly if asked about it. She almost never talks about her past, her family, or anythi ng about herself, other than how beautiful and talented she is.

When she's not fighting, flirting or chest beating, Dayanara has her nose in a book, or doing something expand her already vast knowledge of the world of Lunar. She is very intelligent, no matter how she appears. Her wisdom about historical events is a mazing, and also seems to have some perception on events that are yet to come. While she's no priest of Althena, her recollection of this history of the Goddess seems to be near flawless, almost as if she had been there since the beginning.

Dayanara tends to watch over the party like a mother, but keeps her overall goals to herself. What could she possibly be after? Why does she follow the party around like she does? Who is she really? For what or whom is she searching for? Will she steal the hearts of all the male party members? All of these questions, and probably much more, will be answered... no matter how the party feels about her.
