Also Known As: Imogene, Acting Head Priestess of Althena and Aibone, a travelling
witch from Tamur.
In the last few months, things have begun to change around the Shrine of Althena. Of course, it
wasn't totally unexpected. With Jessica taking an extended leave of absence, somebody had to be put in
charge. That person was Imogene.
For some though, the changes came to quickly. For weeks, there were suspicions that Imogene was
letting her new power go to her head. Rumor had it that she had taken some of the donations for personal
use. Some people even claimed that an outbreak of eerie events such as noises, broken objects in empty
rooms, accidents, and other strange occurrences were caused by Imogene. Of course, no evidence was ever
brought forth.
After some of the younger priestess' started disappearing, one of the mid-level priestess started
making noise. She started talking to people about her suspicions of Imogene. With little prompting,
these same priests and priestess began to label her a heretic.
The rumors have turned out to be true. Imogene herself lead an attack on the shrine with a force of
Vile Tribesman. The question reamins... why? And what happened to all the faithful she took with
her?
The party was fooled yet again by Xenobia. They came to the aid of a woman in Meryod by the name of
Aibone, saving her from a pack of insane Meryoders. As "repayment", the witch cast a protective spell
around them while the spent the evening in Finn's old house. The barrier was little more than a magical
trap, however; intended to seal them within while she and Koran attacked Damon's Spire as a prelude to
striking Vane.
But no plan is perfect...
