    • [Storen] Welcome to our news program... I'm beast-man B'zar and here's what's happening.
    [Storen] First up, we have a live video feed from the Althena's shrine near Reza where a large demonstration is being held...apparently the Pickerters are disgruntled with the stereotypes commonly associated with RPgs. Our sources tell us the persecution of a hero who is actually a demon set off this mass rally. The Storyteller Defense Force was led in by TrueBlue to quell the ensuing riot.
    [Storen] Camera switches to a large crowd picketing before the doors of the shrine.
    [Picketers] "Down with the stereotypes! Stop the ignorance!"
    * TrueBlue shoots everybody in the picket line...
    [Picketers] Uwah! O_O
    *Picketers get shot and blink-fade away ala FF.
    [Storen] Unfortunately, looting the picketers is pointless, unless you're looking for a few nickels worth of recyclable plastic and wood signs.
    [Storen] Back to the studio.
    [Storen] In a related story... Vile Peons are now taking over Meryod... however the residents are apparently too stupid to know the difference... One woman even claims the peons are related to her second-cousin's sister's wife's brother-in-law, Billy Rae.
    [Storen] Now onto the weather...it looks like another snowstorm sweeping in from Caldor Isle. Highs in the mid to low 20's tonight...so pull up those Wool Cloaks and watch for nomadic tribes of Ice Mongrels. Hunters should make a killing on fur trading today...as stock prices are expected to rise sharply due to some very high outside investment.
    * Storen gets handed a paper...
    [Storen] Hmm...this just in...!
    [Storen] It appears the village of Reachdeep has been leveled by an unknown force... Some say it was the Vile Peons sighted in the area, but eyewitnesses report a much stronger and more organized assault.
    [Storen] Could this be the same army that razed our fair city of Meribia? Who can stop these monsters?
    [Storen] *commercial break*
    [Storen] A sexy woman appears. ^^
    [Woman] "Hey hot stuff...looking for a way to keep warm this winter season?"
    [Woman] "Then come down to Ramus's Pleasure Emporium...where the heat is always on..."
    [Storen] She kisses the camera and fades away.
    [Storen] News guy appears again...
    [Storen] Welcome back...now we move onto sports part of our program...
    [Storen] Today in Football, the Reza Brigands defeated the Ruid Steelers 21 - 10. It was a hard match to call down the middle, with numerous infractions in favor of the Brigands... Some suspect Thief's guild assistance, but the GM assured us there was no foul play.
    [Storen] The planned ice hockey all-star game was postponed indefinitely... pending the destruction of Meribia, until a new field can be built. Needless to say, the payroll will be very light this year for the Meribian players. *coughs*
